Golden Tee Fore Complete, trackball issue

I have a Golden Tee Fore Complete that when I try to putt or swing to the top left diagonal direction, it scrolls through the club selection, like it's reading left and not top left diagonal. It has a brand new set of rollers inside the trackball and the trackball itself is in great shape, so it may be an issue with the small square board? Anyone know how to resolve this?
