Hey all,
I have a Millipede cocktail that I picked up in a group deal. I really like the game but I need to sell some stuff to make room. I thought I would see if anyone was interested in this in East TN or parts nearby. I thought someone coming to the Kingsport auction Saturday might want me to bring it if they were really looking for one. Either way, it will probably be sold there this weekend if the weather permits me to bring it Friday night, or Saturday morning. The game is in pretty decent shape for a survivor of its age. I've cleaned it up and I think its been HUO for the last 15 years or so. The flaws: you can see in one picture where someone started to carve an initial in the P2 CPO, but its just an I and not that bad. Also, its missing the coin door and mechs. Its a pretty odd door since its a CT. Long and slendor, but I think the coin bucket is still in it. Probably not impossible to replace, but not common by any stretch. Lastly, I would probably look for a tube or monitor to swap in for the G07. The colors are nice and bright from the recap, but it does have some phoshor burn in and even wear spot in one area where red isn't quite as bright as it should be. Looks great in a darker room, but a little hard to see in daylight. Of course, keep in mind that the pics were taken in a storage building with a skylight peak so that doesn't help. To the best of my knowledge, that is the condition of the machine as a whole. The pros: I recapped the monitor already, I've cleaned up the game to decent condition, and I've taken the trackballs apart to clean gunk out and sand/polish the rust off the rollers where drinks had spilled in them. If I were going to keep the machine myself I would probably purchase Bob Roberts stainless steel roller trackball rebuild set. But that's like 32 for each side and I'm out of space as it is. The price is 300 if anyone is interested. If not, you can bid on at the auction if you plan on attending. Here's some pics.
