G07 out of Centipede cab,need help

So I pulled the chassis off my G07 and need a little help. Looks like someone has been in here before(WOW what a surprise ;) )

So first off, I found these just hanging around..



Do these go here??



Also found this wire job, the R/W wire has been cut and the V/W is spliced into the B and Y wire running to this. I know the R/W and V/W are the sync wires...guess this was a work around??





Don't see anything burnt or messed up,fuses look good but have not metered them yet.

Also does it matter much which way the power connector from the transformer to the CRT is connected as it will fit both ways. It looks like keyed but cant tell for sure.
