Hello all,

I'm working on an Operation Wolf and need some help. Short history of what has been done.

1. Got the cabinet and found game board not plugged in - Plugged in and turned on - have sound and picture (garbage on screen)

2. Found used pcb on eBay for $20 non-working - removed chips and installed on board in cabinet - Have sound and have good picture.

3. Could not coin up the game - found wire off a plug - installed wire added .25$ - press start - no gun

4. Pull trigger - no gun sound - no motor- white flash on screen- Hit rocket button - sound and motor. Found "working optic board" on eBay.

5. installed optic board in gun - Have sound-motor but not registering hit makers, just the white flash on the screen.

6. Put into test mode- ram ok. Adjusted screen color and brightness- no affect.

7. Adjusted screen while in normal mode- adjusted Knobs on fly back (screen, fouces) - heard electrical sound - no picture- found 3amp fuse blown.

8. Removed monitor and put on table - discharged fly back (under suction cup) had no discharge sound - removed chassis board and found 15amp fuse blown - replaced.

9. Put monitor back - powered up and pop 3 amp fuse. No picture, no 120v to monitor. Tested with 25in monitor - worked but did blow the 3 amp after shut down and a power back up.
(19in monitor with a WG chassis)

So I went from 90% working to 40% working in 3 hours. Questions I have are; does the optic board sensor pick up the brightness of the monitor to register shots. Is it possible to have a dead short in the fly back adjusters? Would I be better of finding another chassis and optic board?
